Our Homebound Teachers impact students lives by:
+ Delivering instruction in the homebound or hospital setting
+ Communicating with parents/guardians about student progress
+ Collaborating with teammates in grade-level and subject-level teams
+ Using data to track student achievement and to constantly improve practice
+ Participating in daily, weekly, and quarterly meetings about student achievement
+ Gathering appropriate materials and assignments through designated building contacts (usually classroom content teachers or the Special Education case manager)
+ Implementing IEP with parents/guardians to address the time period that student will be in the homebound program
+ Present material in a meaningful manner using correcting, reteaching, or other appropriate methods
+ Proctor examinations using directions provided by the teacher
+ Work with teachers to develop techniques that will enhance the program delivered at home
+ Return finished work and tests to the teacher for correction and recording of grades
+ Participate in progress update meetings with parents, staff, and teachers
+ Participating in the life of the school, including student activities and events
+ Embodying, advocating, and operationalizing the mission, vision, and direction of Crescent City Schools
+ Taking on other tasks as needed

Physical Requirements
+ Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
+ This is an in-person role
+ Must possess and maintain a valid Drivers License, have reliable transportation and appropriate insurance.
