We are looking for an AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer with min 3-year experience to build functional systems that improve customer experience in our beautiful Dallas office. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for all aspects of the One Park Financial technology delivery stack along with production performance monitoring. Reporting to the Director of IT, the DevOps engineer collaboratively works with all technology teams to research, design and implement innovative CI/CD and monitoring solutions. We are seeking a unique individual that excels working in a fast-paced environment, where creativity and risk-taking are encouraged and production stability and quality is expected.
Requirements
Knowledgeable of a wide range of tools and technologies in software development including GitLab, C#, and AWS (Salesforce knowledge a plus)
Knowledgeable with the AWS cloud platform, micro-services architecture, CI/CD solutions, containers, Kubernetes, DevOps principles, automation & configuration management tools
Knowledgeable in Git repository & branching
Comfortable with higher testing and deployment frequencies (CI/CD)
Knowledgeable of IT systems and production environment experience
Experience in performance optimization and monitoring
Ability to solve non-standard problems with an innovative approach
Organization and time management skills
Priority setting and handling
A self-starter
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills and relationship building skills. Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 2-3 years of DevOps experience
Duties and Responsabilities
Work Schedule Mon-Fri 9am - 5pm
Work closely with the development teams to brainstorm, design and implement technical build and deployment solutions
Work closely with the infrastructure team to introduce provisioning and deployment automation
Design, implement and support IT architecture using cloud technologies (mostly in AWS and Salesforce)
Development of tools and other custom components necessary to support full stack development
Research and integrate third-party tools into the cloud platform to support business needs
Monitor monthly cloud costs and provide feedback on potential savings solutions
