About the Role
The Company is in search of a Career Coach to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-on-one coaching to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent alumni, on a wide range of career-related topics. This includes but is not limited to, career exploration, developing professional competencies, conducting job searches, and applying for post-graduate education. The role also involves the development and delivery of presentations, workshops, and programs to support the career and professional development of the student community. The Career Coach will be an integral part of the team, working closely with academic departments, student organizations, and other campus partners to foster relationships and maintain a strong network of support for students. Applicants for the Career Coach position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as human development, psychology, sociology, or a related area. A Master's degree and experience in a college or university setting are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in advising, coaching, or teaching, with strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills. Experience with career development theories, personality theory, and vendor products for the career services field is also desirable. The role requires a commitment to diversity and inclusion, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The Career Coach will be expected to engage in professional development and contribute to the strategic goals of the office.
