Summary Onix Datametica seeks a Data Engineer for its Cloud and Big Data projects within Data Warehousing and Data Analytics domains. Role: Data Engineer Location: New York/New Jersey/Charlotte, NC/Dallas, TX Experience: 8+ Years Responsibilities Develop data-driven solutions using Cloud-based technologies to meet evolving business needs, delivering scalable and high-performance data solutions to clients in US, UK, Canada, and India. Design and develop ETL/ELT applications interfacing with customer applications. Lead and implement data-driven solutions, collaborating with larger development teams. Develop test strategies, plans, and cases for cloud-based solutions. Required Skills and Abilities 8+ years of proven experience in data platform and big data engineering. Hands-on experience with SQL; familiarity with GCP native SQL (BigQuery) is essential. Proficiency in Python; experience with Jupyter notebooks is a plus. Deep experience with Google Data Products (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, GCS, etc.). Willingness to learn and share knowledge. Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and project leaders. Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment. Experience translating requirements into solutions using Python and SQL (BigQuery). Experience working in agile teams. Excellent communication, presentation, and professional speaking skills. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
