From our Williamstown branch, we provide comprehensive security solutions to South Jersey residential and commercial clients, covering everything from consultations to ongoing monitoring.

Role Summary:

Were looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Low Voltage Technician to join our team. In this role, youll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems including surveillance cameras, alarm systems, access control, and other security technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with tools, and the ability to design and implement reliable security solutions that meet each clients unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure low voltage systems, including CCTV, alarm systems, and access control.
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and system diagnostics to ensure optimal performance.
  • Build and assemble components for a variety of low voltage applications.
  • Use remote access software to diagnose and resolve system issues.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to assess their needs and deliver customized security solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, service calls, and inventory.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry standards, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of proven experience installing and maintaining low voltage systems.
  • Familiarity with security system technologies such as IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) preferred.
  • Experience in alarm system sales is a plus
  • Strong mechanical skills and proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Relevant certifications in low voltage or related fields (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Technical Background

Experience or proficiency in:

  • Fire Alarm Systems (installation, troubleshooting, maintenance)
  • Security Systems & Access Control
  • CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
  • Data and Structured Cabling/Wiring
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Leadership qualities to oversee junior technicians and small projects
