We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic . The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered heavy machinery, ensuring peak performance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and dump trucks.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and hydraulic system checks.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify engine, transmission, and electrical issues.
• Disassemble and reassemble engines, transmissions, and other components as needed.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and industry standards.
• Keep work areas clean and organized while following company safety policies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Technical school or certifications preferred).
• 3+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic (preferably with heavy equipment).
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Must have own tools (preferred but not required).
• Valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
