Position Description:

As a Landscape Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and maintenance of our facility's grounds. You will lead a team of landscapers, coordinate with external contractors, and ensure that all landscaping projects are completed on time and within budget. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement landscape maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Supervise and manage a team of landscapers and groundskeepers.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized landscaping projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards.
  • Monitor and manage the landscaping budget.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems.
  • Plan and execute seasonal planting and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain records of landscaping activities and expenses.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for landscaping staff.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in landscape management.
  • Strong knowledge of plant care, pest control, and irrigation systems.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in landscape design software is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
