Position Responsibilities
Deltek is seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage ERP implementation and consulting services. This person will provide expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation and thought leadership to the client and project team. Initial product focus will be Vantagepoint, but PM will also manage additional product implementations within Deltek's suite of offerings.
The PM will lead a cross-functional team of business, technical, and function experts and work directly with the client to manage all aspects of the project. The PM is responsible for the successful completion of enterprise implementation projects.
The PM will have primary ownership of the project deliverables assigned to the project team and provide day-to-day direction to the team. They will be responsible for developing the project schedule, ensuring all tasks are completed, and delivering the project within the financial parameters set forth in the contract, including any approved scope changes.
Strong soft skills and relationship management abilities are crucial.
The PM will also be the prime spokesperson to management on project related matters, both internally and externally. Providing analytical and technical thinking across multiple areas of responsibility with an understanding of their role and its impact on business results is critical.
Additionally, the Project Manager will need to drive the development, implementation and constant improvement of PMO governance, processes, and procedures within Deltek's Professional Services PMO.
Qualifications
B.S., Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent experience
PMP certification required
10+ years' experience in the implementation of Project Management and software development life cycle methodologies including waterfall and agile
A minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience on completion of full lifecycle ERP implementations
Ability to manage enterprise level projects as well as portfolio of 10+ projects in various lifecycle phases
Ability to summarize information, tailor communication style and content for different stakeholders
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
Proven experience managing projects with remote teams
Must be able to build relationships with remote stakeholders
Possesses confidence with navigating an escalation process
Skilled in building trusted relationships with team members and project leaders (both local and remote)
Experience assessing, organizing, and managing priorities within an organization
Ability to travel up to 25%

The U.S. salary range for this position is $98000.00 - $171500.00. This range is subject to change as Deltek takes a number of factors into consideration when determining individual base pay, such as location, job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including incentive compensation and equity.
