Division Overview:

Crown’s Closures, Aerosol & Promotional Packaging (CAPP) Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for the largest consumer packaging companies in North America.

Our distinguished list of clients including SC Johnson, Abbott Laboratories and Unilever.

We manufacture total packaging solutions including:

Closures

: We manufacture a variety of decorative food and metal vacuum sealed closures, metal and composite closures, capping systems for glass and plastic container manufacturers.

Aerosol Packaging

: We manufacture cans and ends for manufacturers of personal care, food, household and industrial products.

We offer our customers a broad range of products including multiple sizes, color schemes and shaped packaging.

Promotional and Specialty Packaging

: We manufacture a wide array of decorative containers with numerous lid and closure variations.

Position Summary:

CROWN has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative in the North American CAPP Division.

The manager will collaborate with sales management activities for our National Accounts and customers in growth segments.

Success in this position requires management of cross-functional relationships including Executive Leadership, Sales, Operations, Planning, Market Insights, Customer Service, Quality, Logistics and Accounting.

This position will serve as a key contact of the Division to the customer projecting a strong positive image of the Company.

Responsibilities for this role will include the following:

Build and strengthen long-term Commercial strategies and business relationships that position CROWN as a strategic partner with customers in growth segments of our business.

Leadership and management of a portfolio of existing and new National Customer Accounts in strategic business planning with a specific focus on forecast and financial planning to meet key performance metrics

Develop and execute Customer Account Sales strategies with accountability for attaining business growth and profit objectives on assigned Customers

Ensures that strategy and objectives are aligned with overall CROWN and Division objectives

Develop and execute strategic plans with partners that address customer and company needs while building cross-functional relationships with key decision makers

Execute Customer Account penetration to generate sales, reduce costs and maximize profit for CROWN

Continually gather, analyze and provide segment and competitive information to better inform the business and continuously improve the strategic plans for the CAPP Division

Requirements

:

We are seeking a high-potential individual for this opportunity with the desire and ability to advance within the organization.

Requirements include the following:

BA/BS degree in packaging science, or a related discipline. MBA is a plus.

2+ years in a sales related role.

Packaging or a closely related industry is a plus.

Basic understanding of the packaging Industry in terms of competitors, suppliers, co-manufacturers and customers, especially the growth segments of the packaging industry.

Experience working with fast-moving consumer package goods is a plus

Experience working with CPG’s is a plus.

Experience, in presenting/interacting with corporate customer level

Experience in customer forecasting, accounts receivable, claims resolution, and other account management responsibilities is a plus

Experience working with all disciplines in an organization, including engineering, manufacturing, R&D, sourcing and finance is a plus

Proven ability to communicate and coordinate innovation projects.

Superior oral and written communication skills as well as proven presentation skills

Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities to completion.

Self-starter, eager to take initiative with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Well organized and detail oriented with outstanding time management skills

Ability to effectively use analytical or theoretical approaches to problem solving

Complete understanding of the Microsoft Office software (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Access)

Travel throughout the US is estimated at 50%
