Who We Are

Within Cisco's Security & Trust Organization (S&TO), our security engineering team develops and delivers industry-leading foundational security technologies, which are broadly deployed across Cisco's infrastructure. These Dependable Technologies enable customer differentiating, pervasive security with a secure by default posture.

Our portfolio of technologies & services spans cryptography, image signing, hardware & software attestation, anti-counterfeit, and cloud security technologies. Our Cryptographic Services (CS) team delivers centralized, high-availability, cryptographically focused services for Cisco offers and infrastructure, including software signing, TLS certificates, device certificates, and secrets & key management.

What You'll Do

The Product Manager will engage cross-functionally across Cisco's security engineering and business unit (BU) development teams to define, guide, and promote the adoption of security technologies & services. A key focus will be on delivering and deploying post-quantum cryptography (PQC) technologies supporting Cisco's industry-leading transition.

You will define, deliver, and evangelize our security technologies and services, enabling broad adoption across Cisco's offer portfolio & infrastructure. Working in an Agile/lean environment, you will own the security technology roadmap, prioritize engineering activities, and align investments with business value.

As a portfolio owner with technical vision and business insights, you will establish and drive security technology strategies, roadmaps, gap analysis, and PoCs, while championing systematic adoption of our security solutions.

This high-visibility role requires a blend of security domain expertise, business acumen, and soft skills in influencing people.

You will earn trust and influence colleagues through demonstrated expertise in security and cryptography & secrets management. Using a collaborative, approachable style, you will enable cryptographic security solutions benefiting Cisco teams and end-customers.

You will help shape the future of our security portfolio, partnering with development teams, security community, offer BU teams, and security-sensitive customers. You will engage with stakeholders at all levels, establishing trusted relationships.

Who You Are

You have a broad technical background in networking & IT, with deep cybersecurity expertise, including applied cryptography, secrets & key management, and related infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BSc in engineering or computer science; master's preferred.
  • 8+ years in a technical role leading security services/products development, with experience in product management or related roles.
  • Additional certifications like CISSP, CCIE are advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in applied cryptography, post-quantum cryptography, TLS/SSH, IPsec, MACsec, digital signatures, certificates, FIPS 140, and attestation technologies.
  • Knowledge of PQC standards and NIST/CNSA guidelines.
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and product lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of SDL methodologies, security requirements, and policies.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Leadership, motivation, and collaborative skills, with a passion for learning.
