Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education License in Pennsylvania
• Experience working with middle school-aged students, particularly in inclusion and co-teaching settings
• Strong understanding of various disabilities, including SLD, OHI, ASD, and ED
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)

Location:
West Chester, PA

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with general education teachers to create and implement effective co-teaching strategies
• Develop and maintain IEPs tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Provide targeted support to students with varying disabilities within an inclusion classroom
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting instructional methods as needed
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and challenges
