Job Description Job Title: Security Guard (Full-Time) - $21.74/hr.

We are seeking dedicated and experienced unarmed security officers and supervisors for a Customs and Border Protection facility in El Paso, Texas. The application process is thorough, so please only apply if you are committed to seeing it through.
Minimum Requirements:
Good credit history (
No excessive late payments and /or collections )
At least one year of security guard experience
Clean background
Valid level two license in Texas (unarmed, non-commission)
Qualifications in accordance with Texas state regulations for unarmed guards:
Knowledge of emergency procedures, including basic first aid and understanding of abuse and neglect
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks (bending, standing, walking, sitting, etc.) for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Good hearing and vision to monitor family units continuously and children, ensuring their safety.
English proficiency: Spanish communication skills are preferred.
Physical Demands: - Employees are required to work most hours in an indoor/ detention facility environment, standing, sitting, and walking most of the time, and respond quickly to changes in work demands, emerging situations, and emergencies.
- This position requires the candidate to maintain physical fitness standards and must be able to pass and maintain required physical testing requirements and standards, which include:
- Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to push a wheelchair-bound individual weighing up to 300 lbs. and help the individual in and out of the chair.
- Must be able to periodically bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, twist, reach overhead, and climb stairs, ladders, and slopes.
- Strictly maintain physical fitness standards for law enforcement-related positions throughout your employment under this contract
- Ability to walk through all areas of the facility for tours and compliance inspections in varied weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
- Ability to respond quickly during emergency situations.
- Ability to work without restrictions and limitations.
- Ability to greet and deal tactfully and professionally with the general public.
