Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Data Center Cable Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Cable Technician, you will be part of the Infrastructure team supporting the installation and management of network technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to quality workmanship, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: Data Center Cable Technician

Location: Onsite | New Carlisle, IN 46552

Pay Range: $25/HR

What's the Job?

• Partner with cable vendors to install, inspect, and troubleshoot cabling (fiber optic and copper).
• Install and maintain copper and fiber cable infrastructure in data centers.
• Ensure that installations comply with best practices and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records through ticketing systems and workflow management.
• Participate in after-hours support and emergency tasks as needed.

What's Needed?

• Strong knowledge of cabling, cable installation,server technologies, switches, and networking devices.
• Ability to assess and resolve infrastructure issues quickly and accurately.
• Must be punctual and efficient with excellent attention to detail
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with structured cabling and capacity management.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds, with group assistance for heavier objects.
